Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to support the finance team in managing daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will assist with financial record-keeping, reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Record Maintenance:
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and data entry.
- Update and reconcile ledgers, invoices, and accounts.
- Process receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
2. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Manage and monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Verify, allocate, and post transactions in the accounting system.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and invoices.
3. Bank Reconciliation:
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
4. Administrative Support:
- Prepare financial reports and summaries for management.
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Assist with audits and ensure proper filing of financial documents.
5. Compliance and Accuracy:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an accounts assistant or similar role (preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software which is SQL and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,900.00 per month
