Process Engineer

Its customer base is well diversified and globally represented. We are now hiring for a Process Engineer, to be based in our Malaysia office (Synturn (M) Sdn Bhd). RESPONSIBILITY Analyze and evaluate existing turning processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness." Collaborate with quality control teams to address any issues related to product quality." Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency in the turning processes." Collect and analyze data related to turning processes, including cycle times, scrap rates, and machine downtime. Use data analysis to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and implement data-driven improvements. Address and resolve issues related to processes promptly. Create and maintain documentation for turning processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and maintenance, to ensure seamless integration of turning processes within the overall production system. Implement preventive action to minimize the occurrence of problems. Conduct process capability study on sample stage and work with related department on improvement plan accordingly. REQUIREMENT Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 2 years' QA / Process managerial experience, preferably in precision machining environment Strong commitment to driving continuous improvement initiatives in turning processes. Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, 5 core tools , DOE from Quality System Ability to use data analysis for troubleshooting and process improvement. Proven ability to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. In-depth understanding of turning processes, CNC machining, and related manufacturing technologies.
