Maintenance Engineer

Job Scope: 1.Responsible for maintenance, repairing, and improvement of all machine and facility equipment systems for Boon Siew Honda (BSH) plant. This will be accomplished through collaboration, coordination and communication with all section staff and associates. 2.The goal of the activity is to ensure all machine / equipment inside the BSH plant has proper maintenance and is in good condition. Provide guidance to subordinates during/whenever perform tasks/job given. 3.To respond immediately to equipment/facility & power supply breakdowns for respective assigned sections, investigate equipment failures, diagnose faulty operation and to make recommendations for improvement projects to prolong machine lifespan. 4.To execute & monitor in-house or outsource Preventive & Corrective Maintenance work for respective assigned sections to improve production machines & reduce the incidence of costly breakdowns. 5.To collaborate with the engineering technical section for new equipment installation or modification of existing equipment. 6.Assist spare-part PIC to ensure all spare and consumable parts in sufficient level and inform PIC whenever there is spare or consumable part shortage. 7.Perform daily, monthly and yearly schedule for monitoring, trouble and preventive report & make reflection to improve overall reliability. 8.Assist engineering technical section to comply with mechanical, electrical, and safety standards for new installation and modification of existing equipment. 9.Responsible for ensuring safety by following Safety Standard properly & responding to any safety issues for respective assigned sections. 10.Responsible for ensuring 5S and housekeeping of working area, equipment, store & tools in order and making recommendations for improvement. 11.Responsible for alerting immediate superior of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place for that. 12.Undertake any other projects, tasks and duties as assigned by superiors from time to time. Requirements: 1.Able to read and work on engineering drawing (AutoCAD/Revit). 2.Able to work on PLC (Siemens/Mitsubishi/Allen Bradley's)
