Responsibilities
At Liva we want to make sure that all our users have world class experience using our product. This means that our users should have a great experience on-boarding and using our platform, and our health coaches should have a web application that is easy to use and navigate for them to support our users.
We’re looking for a Product Designer who will be the cornerstone of our design efforts. As the sole designer on the team, you will take complete ownership of the design process, working on end-to-end projects to design new interfaces and user experiences — from ideation to execution. Your role will involve conducting user research, creating prototypes, contributing to product ideation and driving usability testing to deliver impactful designs.
As a Product Designer at Liva, you will:

We’re looking for a Product Designer who will be the cornerstone of our design efforts. As a Product Designer at Liva, you will:
- Engage users to understand their needs and align with business goals
- Pitch and collaborate on creative ideas during the product discovery process
- Develop engaging designs, following the company's CVI guidelines
- Work with cross-functional teams, including engineers, QA specialists, and product owners to bring designs to life
- Contribute to QA/QC on designs before User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Technical Requirements (Must Have):
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated success in designing products from concept to launch, with a portfolio showcasing innovative and user-centered design solutions.
- User Experience (UX) Expertise: Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, including user research, usability testing, and creating personas, user flows, and wireframes
- Proficiency in Figma, other design tools are a plus.
- Strong Visual Design Skills: Excellent sense of aesthetics, with a keen eye for detail, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Agile and Iterative Design: Experience with agile methodologies and the ability to iterate designs based on feedback and evolving project requirements.
- Familiarity with front-end development (Kotlin, Swift, HTML, Java, JavaScript) and an understanding of how design choices affect technical implementation.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or Sketch or InVision.
- Collaboration and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and marketing professionals.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Creative and analytical thinking to solve complex design problems and deliver functional and visually appealing solutions.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to ensuring high-quality design deliverables and consistency across all project elements.
- Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and the ability to adapt to new challenges and learn quickly.
