Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis to join our culinary team.
As a Commis, you will work closely with our chefs to prepare high-quality dishes and ensure smooth kitchen operations. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about the culinary arts and eager to learn and grow in a professional kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and plating of dishes according to the menu.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Support senior chefs in various kitchen tasks and learn new cooking techniques.
- Monitor food storage, stock levels, and ingredient freshness.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a seamless and efficient kitchen operation.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Commis or in a similar role is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Passionate about cooking and eager to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
