Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead and manage key banking projects. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting high-quality standards. This role requires a thorough understanding of banking operations, regulatory compliance, and technology implementation. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Execution: • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables. • Oversee all stages of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure. • Ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategies. Stakeholder Management: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, risk, and compliance. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates, manage expectations, and address concerns. • Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams. Risk and Issue Management: • Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies. • Monitor project progress and address issues promptly to avoid disruptions. Budget and Resource Management: • Manage project budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources. • Monitor expenditures and ensure financial accountability. Regulatory Compliance: • Ensure projects adhere to banking regulations and industry standards. • Work with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory requirements. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: • Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. • Provide regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders. Key Requirements:- Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, or related field (MBA is a plus). • Minimum [5-8] years of experience in project management, preferably in the banking or financial services sector. Skills and Competencies • Strong understanding of banking processes, products, and technology. • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or similar). • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. • Strong leadership and team management abilities. Certifications • PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certification preferred. Other Requirements • Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies. • Experience managing digital transformation projects or core banking implementations is an advantage. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
