Job Description: 1. Contract Preparation and Administration • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts, agreements, and tender documents under supervision. • Support in ensuring that contract documentation adheres to legal and company standards. • Maintain organized records of contracts, amendments, and correspondence. 2. Tender and Procurement Process • Assist in preparing tender documents and evaluating bids as part of the tendering process. • Assist in negotiating terms with contractors, suppliers, and consultants under the guidance of senior team members. • Provide support in the procurement of materials such as tiles, ironmongery, sanitary wares, and fittings, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with specifications. 3. Contract Administration • Monitor and manage the execution of contracts, ensuring deliverables, milestones, and obligations are met. • Evaluate and process claims, variations, and extensions of time in adherence to contractual terms. • Maintain detailed records of contract correspondence and manage contract disputes or issues effectively. 4. Budget and Cost Control • Support the tracking of project costs and assist in preparing cost analyses. • Participate in value engineering exercises to achieve cost optimization. 5. Regulatory Compliance • Assist in ensuring that contracts and related activities comply with relevant Malaysian laws and regulations. • Liaise with the legal team for basic compliance checks under supervision. Job Requirement: 1. Educational Background • Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Contract Management, or a related field. 2. Experience • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in contract administration or a related role within the property development or construction industry. 3. Skills and Competencies • Basic understanding of contract law, construction contracts (e.g., PAM, CIDB), and procurement practices in Malaysia. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with contract management tools is a plus. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. 4. Personal Attributes • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently or in a team environment. • High level of integrity and professionalism. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
