Job Description: Financial Reporting & Accounting: Oversee and manage the full set of accounts for the Company/Group. Ensure timely preparation of Balance Sheets, Income Statements, AR & AP ageing reports, and other financial reports. Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual reports, including audit reports. Budgeting & Financial Planning: Assist in preparing and monitoring group/project budgets, including variance analysis. Provide recommendations on financial performance and budget adjustments. Taxation & Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including SST reports and tax filings. Meet all statutory deadlines to avoid penalties. Payments & Reconciliations: Ensure accurate and timely payment processing in line with company policy. Oversee reconciliations, including bank, AR, and AP, ensuring sufficient funds for daily operations. Team Management & Oversight: Review and ensure accuracy of financial transactions entered by team members. Mentor junior staff to ensure adherence to accounting standards. Liaison & Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for internal/external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders. Facilitate smooth communication with external parties for audits and financial matters. Ad-hoc Development & Special Assignments: Assist with ad-hoc development tasks, debugging, or enhancements as required by management to address specific accounting and financial needs. Take on special development projects to enhance financial workflows, optimize system performance, and improve automation in financial operations. Provide additional financial and administrative support based on business needs. Job Requirements: Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent from a recognized higher learning institution. At least 2 years of relevant working experience as senior accountant. Experience in property development industry is an added advantage Excellent command of English, Bahasa Malaysia including Mandarin are added advantage Well verse in Microsoft Office software eg Excel Detailed with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive and able to meet tight deadline Possess good analytical skills, meticulous, multi-tasking, positive working attitude, committed, good interpersonal skills and follow up skills.
