Job Summary Maintenance Engineer responsible in overseeing maintenance department activities and implement best practices and value-added cost control for overall maintenance operation. Key Responsibilities • Planning and scheduling the maintenance work and responding to the machine/equipment • failures. • Proactively preview the work order and ensure work order is carried out effectively and meeting the schedule. • Supporting teams in troubleshooting in day-to-day maintenance activities in the operations. • Periodic reporting the total plant maintenance performance include monitoring, percentage achievement of work order, equipment performance, reliability and history of equipment, maintenance downtime, MTBF, MTTR, OEE /AEM, etc. • Responsible in up-dating and total plant machinery document control. • Conduct studies to determine the feasibility, costs, or performance benefits of plant machinery performance. • Engage and coordinate closely with service contractors when necessary and provide necessary support. • Utilize the deployment of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for physical asset registration, work order creation, stock level of inventories, manpower management and maintenance planning and scheduling. • Work closely with safety officer or local authorities to ensure plant is compliant with OHSA, • DOE and other legislations and regulations. • Track spares and consumables usage and ensure adequate provision for day to day operation. • To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company. • Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management. Qualifications • Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Mechanical or relevant. Competencies Required • At least 3 years working experience Skills & Abilities • Effective communication skills • General computer knowledge.
