Site Supervisor (Architectural)

A. Key Responsibilities 1. Project Supervision - Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure work quality meets architectural specifications and drawings - Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other consultants to resolve technical issues and architectural details on site - Prepare site inspection reports and maintain proper documentation of all architectural works - Monitor project timelines and ensure architectural works are completed according to schedule 2. Technical Leadership - Interpret architectural drawings and specifications for construction team members - Provide technical guidance to contractors regarding architectural details and finishing requirements - Coordinate with other disciplines (structural, M&E, etc.) to resolve technical conflicts 3. Quality Control - Implement and maintain quality control procedures for architectural works - Conduct quality inspections at various construction stages - Verify materials and workmanship meet project specifications - Document non-conformance issues and monitor rectification works - Ensure proper implementation of Good Industry Practices (GIP) 4. Project Management - Attend site coordination meetings and provide updates - Monitor and report on contractors' progress related to architectural works - Coordinate with quantity surveyors on measurement and valuation of architectural works B. Job Requirements: 1. Technical Knowledge - Proficient understanding of Malaysian building codes and regulations - Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and architectural detailing - Understanding of Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) requirements 2. Skills & Competencies - Strong leadership and team management abilities - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills - Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications - Strong organizational and documentation skills
