MID MOUNT GRADER

Key Responsibilities: 1)Operation of Mid-Mount Grader - Operate the mid-mount grader to perform grading, leveling, and compaction of soil, asphalt, and other materials on roadways, bridges, and construction sites. Set up and calibrate the grader according to the project’s requirements, including slope adjustments and blade positioning for precise grading. Ensure the grader is used for tasks such as shaping roadbeds, creating drainage slopes, and preparing subgrades for pavements or foundations. 2)Surface Preparation - Prepare construction surfaces by leveling and smoothing materials to meet specific grade, slope, and elevation requirements. Work with surveyors and engineers to interpret grade stakes, blueprints, and instructions to achieve the desired road or project specifications. 3)Maintenance of Equipment - Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the grader, including checking fluid levels, tire conditions, and other key components to ensure the machine is operating efficiently. Report any mechanical issues or defects to the equipment manager or mechanic for repairs. Keep the grader clean and in optimal working condition to avoid operational delays. 4)Safety and Compliance - Follow all safety protocols while operating the grader, including wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to site-specific safety regulations.Monitor work conditions and surroundings to ensure a safe working environment, reporting any hazards immediately. Job Requirements - Minimum of a secondary school education (SPM or equivalent). - Valid driving license (Class H or equivalent in Malaysia) & Green Card CIDB. Additional certification or formal training in heavy equipment operation, such as a valid grader operator certificate, is highly preferred. - At least 3-5 years of experience operating a mid-mount grader or similar heavy machinery in the construction sector, particularly in roadworks, bridge construction, or infrastructure projects.
