Chargeman LV A1/A4

JOB DESCRIPTION • To perform the operations and maintenance of electrical systems in the Company. • Implementing safety procedures and standards for operations and maintenance tasks. • Plan, coordinate, and implement preventive maintenance programmes as per schedule and report accordingly to immediate superior. • Check, inspect and troubleshooting electrical facilities, machine, or equipment daily to ensure all are effective and safe to use. • Ensure legal compliance related to electrical system and installation. • Carry out all maintenance activities related to LV Switchgear, Genset, electrical, instrumentation and equipment. • Monitor and update the expiry date and renewal of resignation of electrical equipment – generator-set & etc. • Responsible to liaise with utilities providers such as TNB and other government regulatory bodies. • Attended emergency cases of electrical system failure and carry out troubleshooting and rectification works. • Supervise works undertaken by maintenance staff, suppliers and contractors to ensure compliance by the laws, standards and safety requirements. • Assist to investigate incidents and problems related to electrical installation or equipment or facilities to discover the root cause and prevent from re-occurrence. • Prepare electrical reporting and compilation data trend. • Any other ad-hoc as required by the superior. REQUIREMENT • Candidate must have competency of Electrical Chargeman A4 from Suruhanjaya Tenaga with minimum 5 years of working experience in electrical operations in industrial sector. • Minimum diploma holder in electrical field. • Experience in preventive, predictive maintenance planning, scheduling, execution, and manning. • Able to commit on-call task. • Willing to work on shift operation. • Physically fit with positive attitude to work in independent environment. • Good command and written of both Bahasa Malaysia and English • Good communication and leadership skills with every level of the organisation. • Good personal traits and characteristics, high integrity, trustworthy, reliable and honest.
