  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  5. Click JavaScript.

  • Primary Role: Accompany and assist an 8-year-old child on the autism spectrum in school.
  • Key Focus:
    • Build a genuine and strong bond with the child.
    • Help the child feel loved and supported.
    • Help the child develop.
    • Make sure the child is safe.

      (The child is gentle, happy, and has no aggressive or self-harming behaviors.)

      Contract will be renewed per school term.

      Probation Period:

      • Duration: 3 months
      • Salary: 85% of the agreed monthly salary during this period.

  • Educational Background: Degree in Education, Special Education, or Developmental and Child Psychology. (Candidates without a degree may be considered on a case-by-case basis.)
  • Personality Traits: Outgoing, passionate, and patient. Must be good at engaging with children and sparking their interest.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in both English and Mandarin. Clear and confident communication is a must.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Montessori experience or background.
    • Speech therapy / play-based therapy experience or background.
  • Enjoy holidays aligned with the school calendar.
  • Professional training in Montessori and special education will be funded by the employer (will take use of some holiday time). Upon gaining additional certifications, salary increments will be considered.
  • The ultimate aim is to enable the child to attend school independently without the need for a shadow teacher. Upon achieving this goal, the contract will conclude, and a bonus equivalent to 4 months' salary will be awarded.
