Responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring diners have a positive experience at Yakiniku Great by exhibiting excellent customer service. The duties include greeting diners and taking their orders, communicating with members of the kitchen about orders and carrying order to the correct tables. JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: A) Menu Explanation, Taking Orders and Grilling Service Know how to use Inline system to check information in advance (Eg; Pre-Order, Allergies) Showing and explaining the menu for rare parts to the guests in an appropriate way. Entering the table within 1 minute when guest is seated. Being alert and always standby for any ‘Hai’ Tadaima’. Serve in a lower body position manner (down service) Key in the orders inside POS or IPAD with accurate information and arrangement (Eg: Hold, Now, Urgent) Able to ring the bell for rare-cuts order while facing the customer. Write down the omakase checklist for better communication with other colleagues. Serve all the food according to the sequence. Communicate well with kitchen department about cuts arrangements of ala carte order. Grilling all the special rare cuts in accurate counting to a medium rare Last order 30 minutes before session end. Finish within the time allowed per session. Be aware of turnover and arrange the table setting properly. Make sure the dining area is clean before the guest is seated. B) Knowledge of Menu and Rare-Cuts Products Know the seasoning and eating method of the menu. Providing tools for the menu food (tongs, spoon etc.) Explaining the food and method of cooking accurately. Know which part of the beef come from. Know how long it takes to grill for different thickness of the meat. Know the seasoning and method of eating. Requirements MALAYSIAN ONLY Applicant must be passionate in food and beverage as well as taking care of customers Pleasant personality, good interpersonal skills and well groomed Confident, persistent, dedicated, and able to work with minimal guidance.
