Responsibilities - Oversee daily operations to ensure production goals are met efficiently. - Supervise maintenance staff to ensure equipment is properly maintained and any breakdowns are promptly addressed. - Prepare and manage the department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. - Coordinate with engineering and operations teams for smooth maintenance and operations. - Monitor inventory levels for maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring timely reordering and accurate expenditure tracking. - Identify opportunities for process, productivity, and quality improvements within the plant. - Lead monthly stocktaking and ensure proper inventory control. - Organize training programs to enhance team skills and performance. - Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations during operations and inspections. - Assist with additional tasks as required by management. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical), Maintenance Management, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in operations roles. - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills, with proven ability to manage teams in challenging environments. - Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards (ISO, OHSAS, etc.), and proficiency in MS Office applications. - Willing to work in Bidor, Perak Benefits: - Opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment. - Career development and growth prospects within the company.
