Purchasing Executive (Indirect)

1. Lead and couch the IDM Officer and Executive on proper handle of user Request for Quotation, on time PO issuance, delivery follow up on indirect material purchasing 2. Invoice in all issues related with suppliers with regards to quality & delivery matters 3. Meeting with end user and suppliers for new inquiry/purchase 4. Indirect materials sourcing and prepare quotation comparison for supplier 5. Interact and negotiate with suppliers in orders to receive the best bargain and best value 6. Prepare all new indirect material item code, vendor code, description, UOM and approved price for HOD to maintain from Master Data and Price Lists in SAP 7. Handle for product testing arrangement with assigned vendor or supplier 8. Update the complete tracking from PR to PO and comply to the management target set for 7 working days on converting PR to PO in SAP 9. Prepare and update open PR and open PO report on half monthly basic 10. Handle for user enquiry on miscellaneous sales and tender activities. Prepare Scrap Billing Summary Report on monthly basis 11. Must always take initiative to make continuous improvement on the purchasing process 12. Proactively looking on minimizing the purchase price and cost saving 13. Laise with Store and Finance on all the issues related to GPO and invoicing 14. Ensure all RFQ from user for new purchase within 7 working days as per KPI set 15. Checking the GRPO again invoice and Delivery Order before handover to Finance for payment processing 16. To undertake any other projects, tasks and duties as assigned by superiors from time to time
