"Key Responsibilities Purchase Order Management Prepare, issue, and monitor purchase orders (POs) for materials, equipment, and services. Verify accuracy of POs and ensure alignment with budget and project requirements. Track and manage PO status to ensure timely delivery of goods. Collaboration with Accounts Department Work closely with the Accounts Department to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments to suppliers. Verify and reconcile purchase orders with supplier invoices and delivery notes. Assist in maintaining proper documentation for audits and compliance purposes. Supplier Coordination Source and negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships for long-term partnerships. Inventory and Stock Control Liaise with warehouse and production teams to monitor inventory levels and forecast needs. Ensure no overstocking or shortages by aligning purchases with production schedules. Compliance and Reporting Adhere to company procurement policies and procedures. Maintain accurate records of POs, supplier agreements, and other documentation. Provide regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance. Requirements Education: Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Experience: Minimum 2 years in a procurement/purchaser role (manufacturing industry preferred). Skills: Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office. Strong negotiation and organizational skills. Familiarity with basic accounting processes and documentation. Key Traits Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal departments. Ability to multitask and manage deadlines."
