Key Responsibilities Equipment Performance and Maintenance Document equipment performance, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting steps accurately. Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on all production equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI). Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and production delays. Identify root causes of problems and perform corrective actions for continuous improvement. Inform and provide feedback on any equipment or production line issues. Material Management Perform physical inventory checks on all materials, Work in Progress (WIP), and finished goods. Issue materials from the store according to the production schedule to ensure the availability of necessary resources. Production Equipment Operation and Monitoring Operate, monitor, and maintain cable manufacturing machinery to ensure optimal performance and adherence to the production schedule. Ensure proper setup and adjustment of machinery for optimal production output. Performance Monitoring and Reporting Monitor production line efficiency and performance to identify areas for improvement. Consolidate and analyze daily and weekly reports on equipment performance and production metrics. Ad-Hoc Tasks Undertake any ad-hoc tasks or instructions as assigned by immediate superiors or management. Requirements Education: Diploma or Certification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment. Proven experience in equipment maintenance or manufacturing environment. Experienced in Install and unload mould , injection / trouble (preferred) Fresh Graduate welcome to apply SPM or Technical Certificate with solid relevant experiences is also accepted. No colour blindness Preferably technician with plastic extrusion and Cable experience Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills with both mechanical and electrical systems. Knowledge of cable manufacturing machinery and production processes. Familiarity with preventive maintenance and equipment calibration. Ability to document and report accurately on maintenance activities. Certificate operating forklift (advantages) Passed the core wire extrusion technician assessment Abble to operate pallet truck or forklift Able to carry a load of 10 kg and above. Additional: Good communication and team collaboration skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines. Key Traits Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and address production issues effectively. Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
