Responsibilities The candidate will support delivery of Sustainability and Climate Change services to GTM clients in Malaysia and member firms across Southeast Asia, in line with GTM purpose and values through: • Supporting/leading in project management activities under direction from Director/Partner (e.g. manage budget, identification of follow up opportunities, monitoring client satisfaction, managing risks). • Project coordination and client management including overseeing deliverables and facilitating meetings. • Delivering projects across a range of sectors, clients and countries across Southeast Asia/Asia Pacific. Areas of project focus include: Corporate sustainability and ESG strategy development and target-setting; Development of corporate sustainability and ESG reports; Climate strategy development and related services, such as analysis of climate risks and opportunities, decarbonization strategy; Analysis of sustainability risks, opportunities and trends for clients, as well as conducting policy/regulatory analysis; Gap analysis and benchmarking of client sustainability programs and performance; Supporting clients in responding to assessment questionnaires and disclosure requirement, such as Bursa’s Sustainability Reporting Framework, GRI, IFRS S1 & S2 including SASB, TCFD and local and international regulatory requirements; Supporting management and delivery of corporate sustainability- and climate-related proposals. Supporting interactions/commercial activities, developing relationship with current and potential clients. Actively contributing to effective project teams through collaboration; Working with project team in the development and delivery of technical training and tools based on business and client needs; and Contributing to technical publications in the areas particularly GHG accounting and climate-related scenario analysis and other trending topics. Requirements: • Degree from relevant discipline with professional qualification will be an added advantage (e.g. GRI certified sustainability professional/CESGA/CFA ESG Investing/GARP’s SCR Certification/FSA Credential); • Knowledge and practical experience with GHG accounting (Scopes 1 -3) using the Greenhouse Gas Protocol; • Knowledge and practical experience with climate-related scenario analysis, including the use, application, and interpretation of tools and models for assessing climate-related physical and transition risks; • Familiarity with climate reporting frameworks or standards such as TCFD, IFRS S1 & S2 including SASB, GRI and other local and international regulatory framework; • Excellent communication skills demonstrating an ability to engage with clients at an appropriate level for their knowledge base through presentations, workshops and discussions; • Outstanding project and time management skills; • Highly proficient with computers, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); and • Fluent in English – reading, speaking, writing.
