Finance Manager

The role will oversee the financial operations of the group of companies and report to the Managing Director, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, tax and regulatory compliance and effective financial planning and analysis.

What you will be doing :

• Prepare and present accurate and comprehensive financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
• Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and long-term planning.
• Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements.
• Generate comprehensive financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Prepare annual budgets and monitor actual performance against budgets.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial forecasts for management review.
• Prepare, monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations.
• Ensures that the company’s policies and standard operating procedures are strictly adhered to in order to meet the requirements of the internal audit procedures.
• Supervises the team's day-to-day operational work and functions per approved accounting standards.
• Check and review the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoices.
• Tax and Regulatory Compliance - Ensure compliance with all accounting standards, financial regulations and tax law. Prepare and file accurate tax returns such as income tax, withholding tax, service tax, etc on a timely basis, and maintain organised tax records.
• Oversee compliance matters and internal control system.
• Support internal customers in the provision of services on accounting matters, as well as external customers, such as auditors, tax agents, secretaries and customers.
• A hands-on person and able to coach, support and lead the whole team.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines and timely reporting to regional.

To succeed in this role, we will need you to have:

• Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or ACCA Professional qualification or its equivalent
• Certification as a registered member with MIA /CPA is desirable
• Minimum 8-10 years of working experience preferably with some experience in internal/ external audit.
• Experience in managing a team
• Experience in managing the full spectrum of finance functions.
