Safety Assistant

• Assist in the continual improvement of Health Safety and Environmental Management Program and related materials. • Maintain safety databases for the Company • Build and maintain our job site binders required health and safety documents. • Assisting in the development, implementation, and evaluation of occupational health and safety programs • Ensuring that a training program is in place for all staff and covers all applicable legislation • Designing and maintaining systems for internal reporting of compliance with safety rules • Providing administrative support to the Health Safety Supervisor • Advising on various health, safety, and environment-related topics such as noise levels and use of machinery • Updating, preparing, producing, and distributing various departmental reports • Maintaining training calendar and booking training as required • Maintaining safety talks and workplace inspection and training records
