Local Malaysian Only What you’ll do: You will be part of a field sales unit that is thorough on AWS technologies, helping customers through their digital transformation journey. A core competency of the role is to advance the engagement process to achieve/exceed quarterly AWS Infrastructure consumption targets for related workloads in your assigned accounts. You will develop and maintain an AWS Infrastructure and application migration expertise, able to identify projects, build a compelling business case, and drive the consumption project to production. You will build and maintain relationships with customers, influence long-term strategic direction and act as a trusted advisor driving engagement at the CXO level with technology decision makers. You will help customers evaluate their cloud strategy, determine approaches to application and data migration and modernization, and recommend solutions that meet their requirements. You will remove roadblocks to deployment and drive customer satisfaction. Primary accountabilities for this role include: 70%: Customers developing new AWS consumption engagements which align to the customer’s technical and business strategy. You will work with AWS & internal account managers to target the account lists to identify and engage prioritized customers. 30%: Community leader, attending AWS UserGroup events, participate in promotional events and build rapport with the leadership. You will win the customers’ & AWS leaders’ trust to help grow the cloud business by mentoring and continuously supporting the customers by providing advice on technology adoption across all business streams and the AWS personnel by leveraging the latest & greatest AWS programs for client success & efficient growth. About you: 6+ years’ experience selling business solutions or AWS/ AWS Cloud / public cloud to enterprise customers with a focus on application and infrastructure technologies Experience and expertise selling to senior business decision makers by aligning & reinforcing the value of the solution to the customer’s overall business pain and/or strategic opportunities and decision criteria. Problem Solver: to solve customer problems through cloud technologies required Collaborative: orchestrate and influence virtual teams to pursue sales opportunities and lead v-teams through influence Technical Requirements: AWS Platform. Understanding of AWS core services, Sage Maker and Amazon Q are important to the role, but are not mandatory from the get go. The position requires the ability to articulate and present the business value of AWS’s business solutions and have a firm understanding of AWS strategies and services relative to major competitors preferred Competitive Landscape. Knowledge of enterprise software solutions and application and infrastructure competitor landscape Certifications. AWS Cloud Practitioner and/or Architect is added advantage
