Logistic Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

Resource Coordination:

• Allocate and schedule maintenance personnel and equipment based on service requests and project requirements.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure adequate resources for timely service delivery.

Scheduling and Planning:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive schedules for planned maintenance activities.
• Plan logistics to minimize downtime and optimize the utilization of resources.

Inventory Management:

• Oversee the inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary for maintenance services.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure the availability of required materials.

Quality Control:

• Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure maintenance services meet or exceed established standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess service delivery effectiveness.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including resource usage, service timelines, and any incidents.
• Generate regular reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

Communication:

• Serve as a liaison between maintenance teams, management, and other relevant departments.
• Communicate service schedules, updates, and changes effectively to all stakeholders.

Safety Compliance:

• Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and guidelines.
• Implement safety training programs and conduct regular safety meetings.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance service efficiency.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and technological advancements in logistics.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably in a maintenance or industrial setting.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
