Position Summary:
As a Part-Time Boutique Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the boutique while providing excellent customer service. You will assist with daily tasks, including sales, inventory management, and maintaining the boutique’s visual appeal. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for fashion and a desire to work in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing an exceptional shopping experience.
  • Help customers with product selection, offering recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle payments.
  • Maintain the visual presentation of the boutique, ensuring that displays are neat, organized, and attractive.
  • Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves, tracking stock levels, and organizing stockroom items.
  • Maintain knowledge of current fashion trends and product offerings to provide relevant information to customers.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of sales promotions and events.
  • Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the boutique, including the fitting rooms and sales floor.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
  • Passion for fashion and a good understanding of current trends.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Flexibility to work during weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems is a plus.

Pay: RM8.50 per hour

Supplemental Pay:

Education:

  • STM/STPM (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Retail: 1 year (Preferred)
