Oversees engineering and technical issues to ensure conformance to the customers’ technical requirements and company owned facilities and equipment for Construction Projects. Responsible for planning, design, development, implementation and completion of project.
Job Responsibilties
- Creates and executes project works plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing requirements.
- Complete full project responsibility in all areas of Project execution.
- Meet or exceed project goals established by Management.
- Project Scheduling, scheduling updates, schedule management and documentation.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of project and scope.
- Effectively applies Project Management methodology.
- Prepare engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
- Effectively manages project risk through mitigation planning.
- Subcontract administration and control management.
- Project communication, meetings, and coordination.
- Determine progress claim and ensure timely and complete invoice.
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Manage Project contract issues and notices and assist the team accordingly.
- Support tender processes.
- Attend to defect administrative work at site.
- Any other duties assigned by Project Manager.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree: A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is usually required.
- Relevant Experience: Most roles require several years of experience in construction projects, including supervisory roles or hands-on management.
- Certifications: Certifications such as the Certified Construction Manager (CCM) from the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) or Project Management Professional (PMP) can enhance a candidate’s credentials.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software like Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar is often essential.
- Legal Knowledge: Understanding of building and safety codes, regulatory issues, and legislation related to construction.
Working Hour
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6pm
