Fitness Manager
Reports to: Club General Manager
Objective: The Fitness Manager leads the club’s fitness department, focusing on creating an exceptional fitness experience, driving personal training revenue, and managing a cohesive, high-performing team.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership and Development:
* Lead, train, and mentor Personal Trainers to deliver consistent, high-quality fitness services.
* Conduct daily briefings, set individual and team goals, and provide ongoing feedback to ensure all trainers meet performance expectations.
* Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and development of all trainers, coordinating with People & Culture Department and Fitness Training Specialists as needed.
2. Operational and Administrative Management:
* Ensure all fitness operations comply with club policies, safety standards, and Standard Operating Procedures.
* Ensure completion of company’s performance management and tracking tools.
* Conduct regular audits of personal training sessions and member feedback to identify improvement areas.
* Manage scheduling, payroll reports, and operational checklists, ensuring smooth daily operations.
3. Revenue Generation and Performance Tracking:
* Develop strategies to increase personal training sales and member retention, collaborating with the Sales and Membership teams.
* Monitor and report on fitness department revenue, setting targets for personal training and fitness program participation.
* Identify new opportunities for fitness programs, workshops, or classes that align with member interests. o Personally contribute to club PTS and PTC targets.
4. Member Experience and Community Engagement:
* Foster a positive, motivating environment that inspires members to pursue a healthy lifestyle and engage in club offerings.
* Oversee the integration of new members into fitness programs, ensuring a smooth transition from induction to regular sessions.
* Work closely with the Club General Manager to align fitness department goals with club-wide objectives, enhancing the overall member experience.
* Lead participations in club / company’s internal and external events.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
