MARINE & LOGISTICS EXECUTIVE Sabah - Kota Kinabalu Responsibilities: SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB : Suitable candidate to have good communication skills, recruitment and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to relate well with people across all levels and cultures, able to work independently and possess good teamwork capability, exceptional listener and communicator, outgoing and ambitious with ability to work with high sense of urgency, Managing the day-to-day crew manning service activities including but not limited to: To plan and manage crew movement. (Doc's review/interview/seek approvals/verification of documentation/preparation of employment contract/joining repatrition/payroll • Ensure compliance and to meet all guidelines and requirement pertaining to crew matters/Client Local Authority/International Requirements. • To draft and participate in Internal Annual Audit for ISM and ISPS. • To participate in vessel table top drill. • To assist in the closure of finding by class and other bodies pertaining to vessel seaworthiness • Arrange and coordinate travelling arrangements for on-off signing officers and crew in the Masters and Port Agents • Handle all documentation, administration and deployment of crew • Liaise with Agents for Vessel for Port clearance • Liaison with the Marine Departments and Port Authorities on ISM & ISPS matters • Maintaining vessel certification to ensure they are in-date Maintain and update the Approved Marine Crew database • Provide general administrative support to the Mega Bakti • Handling visas, work permits, etc • Responsible for maintaining updated vessel rotation plans and execution of agreed crewing strategies • Sound knowledge of STCW, MLC 2006 and relevant manning and flag state requirements • Performance appraisal follow up • Monthly reporting on crewing • Logistics support for Procurement & Operations • Assist in purchasing of food provisions for Vessel CRITERIA • Degree in Logistics, Maritime or relate and also as a 2nd officer (NC or FG) and/or Crew Manning services. • Minimum 2 years of work experience preferably in Marine industry as Marine Operations, Logistics arrangement and port clearance. •Good knowledge on compliance and latest information on STCW and MLC 2006 and on any latest amendment or revision •Fluent in English language & Bahasa Malaysia (reading, writing and speaking) Good knowledge on shipboard management and safety system • At least 2 year handling manning and exposed to vessel management • Logistics Support for 2 years
