Supplier Quality Engineer

Establish and maintain effective quality assurance processes for suppliers, including monitoring their performance through regular audits, inspections, and assessments. Develop and implement quality agreements with suppliers, outlining quality expectations, standards, and responsibilities. Collaborate with the Procurement team to assess and qualify potential suppliers based on quality, capability, and compliance with industry standards. Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to assess their quality management systems, processes, and capabilities Monitor and analyze supplier quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends and opportunities for enhancement. Prepare and present regular supplier quality performance reports to management and cross-functional teams. Collaborate with suppliers to identify areas for improvement, provide guidance on quality best practices, and support their continuous improvement initiatives. Work closely with suppliers to address quality concerns, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), and drive root cause analysis. Assess supplier-related risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure a stable and reliable supply chain. Collaborate with suppliers to implement risk reduction measures and contingency plans. Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing supplier quality, reducing defects, and optimizing supply chain efficiency. Partner with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Production, and Procurement, to ensure seamless integration of supplier quality requirements. To develop the quality standard is suitable to the customer expectation as well as to act as a bridge between the plant and customer as to ensure that our internal standard and quality process are able to meet or exceed of customer expectation.
