JOB OBJECTIVES / SUMMARY
Facilitates communication between production, sales and distribution stages to promote a healthy and efficient supply chain.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
- Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels
- Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
- Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
- Tracking and fixing shipping errors
- Preparing bills and invoices
- Managing distribution and shipment budgets
- Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organize
- Prepare full set of documents for import / export activities..
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international shipping requirements.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
- Work closely with customs brokers to facilitate smooth import/export processes.
- Ensure all declarations in the trade documentation are correct.
- Check customs records of all the expired exemption updated.
- Handle tax exemption and special permit required from government agencies for shipments.
- Liaise with shipping company.
- To ensure correct segregation of domestic & export sales to comply with tax regulations.
- Develops, implements, and maintains procurement policies and review on a regular basis to ensure relevance and conformance with best practices and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory policies.
- Optimize transportation routes and modes to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of goods.
- Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners.
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Qualification / Education / Years of Experience)
- Tertiary education, preferably with a Diploma with experience or Degree in Supply Chain Management or related study from recognized University.
- 2- 5 years experienced in Purchasing, Import & Export Documentation & Custom Regulations.
- Have knowledge in License Manufacturing Warehouse [LMW] is an advantage
- Familiar with manufacturing environment.
- Good interpersonal with excellent organizing ability.
- Have strong sense of urgency & proactively involved for problem solving.
- Proficiency in computers and office software.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Excellent problem-solving techniques
