Key Responsibilities:

Ink Preparation and Mixing
Prepare and mix inks according to production requirements and customer specifications.
Measure and weigh ink components accurately to achieve the desired color and consistency.
Match ink colors to approved standards or samples.
Production Support
Ensure adequate ink supplies are available for the production lines.
Set up and monitor ink stations on production equipment.
Conduct regular inspections to maintain ink quality and prevent defects.
Color Quality and Consistency
Perform color matching and adjustments as needed during production runs.
Use spectrophotometers or other tools to verify color accuracy.
Address color or ink-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Clean and maintain ink mixing and application equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or process issues related to ink application.
Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with production, quality control, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
Report any deviations or quality concerns to the supervisor immediately.

Requirements:

Education:
SPM or equivalent. A technical or vocational qualification in manufacturing or printing is an advantage.
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in ink operations, printing, or a similar manufacturing role.
Knowledge of ink mixing, color matching, and printing processes is preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong understanding of color theory and color matching techniques.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to operate and troubleshoot ink-related equipment.
Basic computer skills for record-keeping and inventory management.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Physical capability to lift and handle ink containers and stand for extended periods.
