Spare Parts Executive
Job Description:
Inventory management
· Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels for spare parts to prevent shortages or overstock.
· Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
· Update and manage spare parts inventory in the system.
· Prepare the spare parts so that the warehouse can ship them out
Demand Forecasting
· Collaborate with maintenance teams to forecast spare part requirements based on equipment lifecycle and usage patterns
· Analyze historical data and trends to predict future demand
Distribution and Logistics
· Coordinate the timely distribution of spare parts to various locations or departments
· Ensure proper handling and storage of spare parts to maintain quality and usability
Documentation and Reporting
· Maintain detailed records of spare parts transactions, including purchase orders, receipts, and inventory movements
· Prepare reports on inventory statues, procurement activities, and cost savings
Customer Coordination and Technical Support
· Provide technical guidance on spare part specifications to maintenance and engineering terms
· Assist in identifying suitable for obsolete or unavailable parts
· Provide frontline coordination and post-service administrative support to fulfil customer orders and needs
· Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and faxes promptly
· Communicate with customers regarding complaints about parts
Process Improvement
· Identify and implement improvements in spare parts management processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
· Stay updated on industry
Compliance and Safety
· Guarantee a high level of customer satisfaction through good communication and constant feedback
· Ensure spare parts handling and storage comply with safety and environmental regulations
· Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding inventory management and procurement
Qualifications & Experience
· Candidate must possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
· Minimum two to three years of experience in a similar role or in spare parts management, supply chain, or inventory control
· Familiar with mechanical or electrical components and equipment
· Possess good communication skills, problem-solving abilities and management skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,144.97 - RM4,500.00 per month
