Job Summary:
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and financial analysis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity and success of our property development projects.
Descriptions:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including managing the general ledger, accounts payable and account receivable.
- To prepare accurate and timely monthly consolidated account, monthly financial and management reports, quarterly reports, and yearly audited accounts, including analysing trends and variances.
- To handle corporate tax matters including reviewing tax computation and corresponding processes.
- Maintaining proper financial and management accounting records.
- Establishing effective internal control procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards, company policies, related regulatory/statutory requirements.
- Mentor and develop accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and performance excellence.
- Coordinates with team for closing and table of account.
- Handle special / ad-hoc projects assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- Degree or professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum 8 years working experience.
- Able to handle to overall accounting, budgeting, taxation, and management reporting functions.
- Able to liaise effectively with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, lawyers and the management.
- Good interpersonal skills to drive teamwork.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
