Serai Group Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive and experienced Sales Manager to independently lead client acquisition and drive revenue growth within the food and beverage industry. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in sales, a proven track record in client relationship management, and experience in industries such as hospitality, banking, or oil and gas. This role involves building meaningful partnerships and promoting the company’s offerings, including catering services, specialty cuisines, and upcoming ventures.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition:
- Identify and secure potential clients, including corporate accounts, catering partnerships, and wholesale opportunities.
- Develop tailored proposals and negotiate contracts to meet client needs and maximize revenue.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders, including restaurants, hotels, event planners, and corporate entities.
Brand Promotion and Market Expansion:
- Promote the company’s offerings, including specialty cuisines, catering packages, and upcoming ventures (e.g., new outlets or resorts).
- Represent Serai Group at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and establish connections.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
Strategic Sales Planning:
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets.
- Prioritize and execute high-impact activities to expand market presence and secure long-term partnerships.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for senior management.
- Provide insights and actionable recommendations based on market trends and competitor analysis.
- Monitor progress toward revenue goals and adjust strategies as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 6 to 8 years of proven experience in sales or client acquisition, preferably in the Hotel, Banking, Oil & Gas or related industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong network and experience in managing relationships with restaurants, hotels, and event planners.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to independently secure clients and achieve revenue targets.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to adapt strategies to market conditions.
- Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings, events, and business opportunities.
- Ability to analyze data, market trends, and develop actionable strategies.
- Proficient in CRM software and sales performance metrics.
- Strong business acumen and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
