We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join Group Finance Department as an Assistant Manager or Senior Executive. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements within stipulated deadlines and to maintain accurate accounting records.
  • Preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis to support business decisions.
  • To assist in monthly accounts closing, including review and preparation of management report, supporting schedules, tax computations and related matters.
  • To oversee accounting operations, including accounts receivables, accounts payables and general ledger entries.
  • To prepare audit schedules and tax returns for submission.
  • To perform monthly reconciliation schedules and follow up on outstanding items (e.g. creditors, debtors, bank accounts, intercompany reconciliation etc.).
  • To handle statutory audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirement.
  • To monitor and maintain cash management record.
  • To maintain fixed asset register and conduct physical sighting.
  • To liaise with operations department, auditors and other parties where necessary.
  • To ensure the team will perform in an effective and efficient manner with continuous improvement on the work process and to maintain the team spirit to highest level.

Qualification and Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, professional accounting qualification or equivalent.
  • Good interpersonal, organisation, time management and communication skills.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, committed, able to work independently, strong problem-solving skill and able to work under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
