PCB Layout Design Engineer

What you'll be doing

• Analysing schematic to transfer schematic net-list design, ID and ME design and translating them into efficient PCB layouts
• Ensuring PCB designs adhere to industry standards and manufacturing guidelines
• Optimising PCB layouts for performance, manufacturability and cost-effectiveness
• Create and manage PCB documentation including fabrication and assembly drawings, Gerber file
• Gather design requirements and provide PM with hourly estimates for the design
• Work with mechanical designers to come up with a mechanical board design
• Coordinate and approve PCB layout

What we're looking for

• Strong written and oral communication in English with customer service skills
• Experience with at least one PCB tool: Cadence Allegro / Mentor BS / Mentor Expedition / PADS.
• Demonstrates the ability to understand the manufacturing aspects for implementation in the designs
• Must possess ability to think out of the box & propose creative solutions
• Master/Bachelor Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or
• Preferably a minimum of 8 years’ experience in PCB design experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
