PIPING DESIGN SYSTEM (PDS) SPECIALIST

• Develop detailed piping layouts and designs using PDS software, ensuring alignment with project specifications. • Create and review isometric drawings, 3D models, and system diagrams for piping systems. • Conduct site evaluations and collaborate with project engineers to gather technical information for design development. • Perform stress analysis and verify the structural integrity of piping systems. • Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards such as ASME, API, and ISO. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers, to integrate piping designs seamlessly into overall project plans. • Optimize piping system designs to improve operational efficiency and minimize costs. • Prepare material take-offs (MTOs) and Bill of Materials (BOM) for piping components. • Troubleshoot design issues and recommend technical solutions during the project lifecycle. • Assist in the development and maintenance of PDS libraries, templates, and design standards. • Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure that piping materials meet design specifications. • Provide technical support during the construction phase, resolving any discrepancies between design and site conditions. • Conduct quality checks and audits to ensure that all designs meet project requirements and safety standards. • Document design changes, updates, and approvals in accordance with project control procedures. • Stay updated on advancements in piping design technologies and industry practices
