CIVIL AND STRUCTURAL DESIGN SPECIALIST

• Develop and review detailed civil and structural designs, including layouts, plans, and technical drawings. • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design decisions and project planning. • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in all design deliverables. • Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the safety, durability, and efficiency of designs. • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project teams to integrate design requirements and address technical challenges. • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to resolve design-related issues during the construction phase. • Evaluate and select appropriate materials, technologies, and construction methods for project designs. • Prepare design reports, specifications, and documentation for submission to clients, regulatory bodies, and project stakeholders. • Oversee the preparation of 2D and 3D design models, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals. • Conduct regular design reviews and quality checks to identify and mitigate potential risks or errors. • Monitor and assess the impact of environmental, geotechnical, and site-specific conditions on designs. • Support the development of cost-effective and sustainable design solutions that optimize resources and minimize environmental impact. • Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to ensure seamless implementation of designs. • Lead and mentor junior engineers and designers, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development. • Stay updated on advancements in civil and structural engineering practices, materials, and technologies.
