QUALITY ASSURANCE & ENGINEERING ADVISOR

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards across engineering operations. • Ensure all engineering processes and systems comply with quality standards and industry regulations. • Review and approve engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, for compliance with quality requirements. • Perform regular quality audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards. • Lead the identification and resolution of quality issues, working with engineering teams and suppliers to implement corrective actions. • Provide expert advice on engineering best practices, systems, and processes to improve product and system quality. • Offer technical support in resolving engineering challenges related to design, construction, and production. • Assist in the development of engineering specifications and designs, ensuring they meet quality and performance requirements. • Ensure all engineering designs and solutions are thoroughly tested and validated to meet operational standards. • Work closely with engineering teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded in all stages of the project lifecycle. • Facilitate communication between quality assurance teams and engineering departments to ensure timely issue resolution. • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and quality assurance staff to enhance their technical skills and knowledge of quality management systems. • Act as a liaison between the engineering department and clients to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client expectations. • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in engineering processes, systems, and quality management practices. • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues, ensuring that processes are improved to prevent recurrence. • Promote a culture of quality and excellence within the engineering team and across the organization. • Stay updated on the latest quality assurance methodologies, engineering technologies, and industry trends to enhance organizational performance. • Ensure all engineering activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, ASME, etc.). • Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, audits, and test results to support compliance with industry standards. • Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management, highlighting key quality metrics and areas for improvement. • Identify quality risks within engineering processes and products and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
