Role Purpose: The driver’s role is to ensure efficient and professional transportation services for documents, parcels, guests, and staff, while supporting the organization’s operational and marketing needs. Key responsibilities include maintaining vehicles in excellent condition, managing transportation logistics, and performing the scheduled shuttle service on weekdays and weekends (on a rotational basis). The role also involves serving as a personal driver when needed, ensuring accurate documentation of vehicle maintenance and usage, and assisting with additional administrative or ad hoc tasks as required. Job Responsibilities: • Staff Transportation: Drive staff to designated destinations as required. • Guest Transportation: Pick up guests from the airport and transport them to/from the hotel to IMU and other locations as instructed. • Document and Parcel Dispatch: o Dispatch documents and parcels to designated locations. o Handle document stamping and mail delivery to the post office. o Assist distributing mails to pigeonholes. • Support for Marketing Activities: Assist with marketing-related tasks, including outstation trips as needed. • Vehicle Maintenance and Records: o Ensure vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and serviced regularly. o Maintain and update vehicle maintenance reports and records in the system. • Personal Driver Duties: Serve as a personal driver when the SMT's assigned driver is on leave. • Additional Duties: Assist with ad hoc tasks such as physical arrangements, filing, photocopying, and supporting technicians when available. • Shuttle Service: Perform the mandatory shuttle service on weekdays, and weekends (on rotational basis) as scheduled. Job Requirement: • Minimum SPM or equivalent. • Possession of a valid Malaysian Class D driving license; a PSV (Public Service Vehicle) license is required. • Clean driving record with no major traffic violations. • At least 2–3 years of professional driving experience, preferably in a corporate or similar environment. • Familiarity with driving multiple types of vehicles, including sedans, SUVs, vans, and buses (if applicable). • Able to communicate and understand simple English. • Physically fit and capable of performing the required duties.
