Successful candidates are responsible for the following:

  • Facilitate learning and carry out research activities in the IMU.
  • Teach academic subjects to postgraduate students. Teaching methods include lectures, seminars, tutorials, problem solving learning, practical laboratory demonstrations, field work and e-learning. Multimedia technologies are increasingly used.
  • Involved in academic management work as and when required by the Head of Department.
  • Pursue own areas of research and develop these in order to contribute to the wider research activities of the department.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, and a Ph.D. or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
  • Must be registered with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC) and the Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology (MSCP).
  • A minimum of five years of teaching experience or equivalent experience as a Clinical Psychologist is required.
  • Candidates should demonstrate a proven ability to conduct research, with a record of publications in indexed journals, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 36 months

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
