Job Scope :
1. Infrastructure Maintenance & Management
- Building Structure Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of civil components, including structural elements such as floors, walls, roofs, foundations, and external facades.
- Site Maintenance: Ensure that external infrastructure such as driveways, walkways, parking lots, and drainage systems are well-maintained and safe.
- Preventive Maintenance: Plan and implement scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance activities for civil-related infrastructure.
2. Construction and Renovation
- Renovations and Upgrades: Manage or participate in civil-related renovations, repairs, or modifications of existing buildings and facilities.
- New Construction Projects: Oversee or assist in civil engineering aspects of new construction projects within the facility, such as foundations, structural reinforcements, or landscaping.
- Structural Inspections: Conduct inspections of buildings, ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, and safety standards.
3. Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Code Compliance: Ensure all civil work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Quality Control: Monitor and ensure quality control during the implementation of construction, repair, or maintenance work, including reviewing workmanship and materials.
- Risk Assessments: Conduct risk assessments on civil components, identifying areas that may require maintenance or repair to avoid failures.
4. Facilities Operations
- Civil System Monitoring: Monitor the condition and performance of civil systems, including drainage, pavements, and structural elements.
- Infrastructure Upkeep: Assist in managing and repairing infrastructure that supports day-to-day operations, such as roadways, parking structures, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Civil Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain civil engineering equipment used for facility repairs and maintenance, such as excavation machinery, concrete mixers, or compactors.
5. Project Coordination and Management
- Project Planning and Execution: Assist in planning and executing civil construction projects within the facility, from small-scale repairs to large infrastructure improvements.
- Budgeting: Help in preparing and tracking budgets for civil engineering-related projects or maintenance activities.
- Contractor Supervision: Supervise and coordinate external contractors or teams working on civil-related maintenance or construction projects.
6. Asset Management and Documentation
- Infrastructure Asset Management: Help maintain records of civil assets such as roads, buildings, and other civil systems, tracking their condition and lifecycle.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of civil-related work, repairs, and improvements for future reference, compliance, and reporting purposes.
7. Collaboration and Communication
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineers, to ensure comprehensive facility management and maintenance.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with facility managers, tenants, and clients to ensure civil infrastructure needs are met and resolve any related concerns.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
