Senior Accounts Payable Executive

Kopi Kenangan attained the status of F&B Unicorn in SEA in 2022; which is a feat for a company that started operating in late 2017.

We are currently hiring an Senior Accounts Payable Executive to handle the Accounts Payable (AP) functions, managing vendor relationships, ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions, and maintaining up-to-date and accurate records of all payable accounts.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Degree holder in Economics/ Finance/ Accounting or related field with at least 5 year of working experience, with at least 1 year in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of General Ledger system and Accounts Payable processing.
• Strong organizational, analytical and recording skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Have work experience in using SAP Accounting Software would be an advantage.
• Have work experience in F&B / Retail company would be preferable.

Job Role:

• Ensuring timely and accurate payment to vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
• Review and approve invoices, ensuring proper authorization and matching with purchase orders and receipts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts payable transactions.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Address and resolve vendor inquiries and disputes related to payments, invoices, or account balances.
• Verify the accuracy of invoices, including terms, amounts, and account codes.
• Ensure that all invoices are entered into the accounting system correctly.
• Perform regular reconciliation of accounts payable ledgers to ensure that they match vendor statements.
• Handle any discrepancies or issues found during the reconciliation process.
• Process payments and ensure that payments are made in accordance with company policies and within agreed timelines.
• Prepare accounts payable aging reports and other related financial reports for management.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring that all accounts payable transactions are accounted for.
• Maintain proper records of all accounts payable transactions for audit and compliance purposes.
• Supervise and mentor accounts payable executive, providing training and support as needed, also to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Recommend and implement process enhancements to streamline payment workflows and enhance the accuracy of financial reporting.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management to support the finance department.
