Job Responsibilities :
Assists in organizing, directing and overseeing the food production and preparation in the kitchen under the general guidance and supervision of the Sous Chef and the Chef de Partie.
- Assist in the day to day functions and activities of kitchen facilities, and direct personnel engaged in the preparation and presentation of the menus.
- Ensure that standards of performance are followed and maintained.
- Establish high quality levels of food production and ensure that hotel standards and guest satisfaction are met.
- Routinely check all miss-en-place work required and ensure that all equipment and areas of responsibility are kept up to the expected standard of sanitation, hygiene, cleanliness, and neatness.
- Ensure timing of cooking is adhered to guest satisfaction.
- Comply with the following hotel policies on health, safety and hygiene. House rules and regulation and last but not least grooming and appearance standards.
- Check and identify Section needs for maintenance work.
- Maintain an effective working atmosphere by means of good communication and cooperation between departments.
- Perform related duties and special projects as assigned by Management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
