We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer with a strong background in Mechanical & Electrical engineering. The ideal candidate will have a consultant background with 2-3 years of experience in property development, demonstrating expertise in managing and executing complex projects.
Job Description
1. Review consultant drawings for Mechanical & Electrical systems to identify opportunities for value engineering, ensuring cost-effective and efficient project solutions.
2. Collaborate with M&E consultants, precast manufacturer and contractors to monitor project progression, expedite drawings, and ensure timely project delivery.
3. Assess design, tender, and construction drawings to ensure accurate interpretation and alignment with the original design intent for Mechanical & Electrical systems.
4. Provide expert technical support to resolve construction-related challenges specific to Mechanical & Electrical systems, ensuring project standards and quality are maintained.
5. Identify potential project risks related to MEP systems and develop mitigation strategies to proactively address and manage them.
6. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness within the MEP domain, fostering a culture of excellence.
7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Mechanical & Electrical engineering, integrating innovative solutions into project execution.
Job Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred).
2. 2-3 years of experience in a consultant role within the Mechanical & Electrical engineering field, preferably in property development.
3. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant engineering software.
4. Soft Skills: Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
5. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with team members, consultants, and contractors.
6. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
7. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess complex engineering challenges and develop effective solutions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
