Senior Executive, Compliance Monitoring

Report To

Manager, Flight Operations Compliance

Position Summary

Responsible to keep abreast with the latest regulators' regulations and best practices worldwide, and to ensure continuous compliance to the regulations by MAB Flight Operations community through effective monitoring program. To execute the safety program within Flight Operations including safety investigation, development and promotion..

Key Accountability

To keep abreast with the latest and new Aviation Rules and regulations by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia and other Aviation Authorities worldwide as to ensure MAB complies to the aviation most recent requirements
To develop and provide recommendation to Flight Operations management team on the planned communication program and to follow through to ensure its successfully and smoothly implemented.
To closely monitor and timely update EASA Third Country Operator and UK TCO in coordination with other divisions as to ensure MAB is able to continuously and smoothly operate to European region.
To ensure the relevant Flight Operations personnel possess sound knowledge and understanding with the related safety rules and regulation as to avoid legal and compliance implications to Flight Operations division
To conduct effective and efficient audit, supporting Senior Executive Auditor, as to ensure Flight Operations conduct are complying to regulatory requirement and best practices.
To execute the safety program including safety investigation, development and promotion.

Qualification & Working Experience

Degree: Any field
Certificate: Internal Audit or Business Administration.

Key Challenge

Keeping up with the rapidly evolving aviation rules, regulations, requirements, and best practices for various countries MAB operates worldwide into.
Liasing and coordinating with various stakeholders, within and out of MAB Flight Operations.

Personality Traits

A good knowledge on Quality Management Systems and Safety Management Systems.
Working knowledge and experience in Operational and/or technical aspects of Flight Operations and/or Aircraft Maintenance.
Good Knowledge of the Civil Aviation Regulations (CAR) 2016, Civil Aviation Act 1969, Civil Aviation Directives (CAD), Civil Aviation Guidance Materials (CAGM), ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) annexes (1-19), relevant ICAO Docs, EASA Requirements and IOSA Standards and Recommended Practices.
Good communication (both written and inter-personnel), Microsoft Office 365 applications and Auditing including report writing skills.
