Executive - Safety
1. Ensure observance of Safety Rules & Regulations, Personal Safety at workplace.
2. Ensure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) issued are being utilized by employees.
3. To organize Safety, Health & Environment program (eg) – campaign / workshop etc.
4. To plan and organize periodic Fire Evacuation drills.
5. To plan activities such as chemical exposure personal monitoring, Audiometric testing, LEV monitoring, stack sampling and any other safety & health activities.
6. To attend JKKP/DOSH/DOE/BOMBA inspections or audits and responsible to liaise with them on any issues relating to safety, health and environment.
7. To maintain fire protections system with checklist and ensure on standby mode.
8. To plan and conduct internal safety & health inspection with the safety committee and arrange safety committee meeting at Plant level as per requirement.
9. To do improvement work on safe workplace (eg) place safety signage, mark the area that have potential for accident, perform safety improvement on machine etc.
10. To maintain First Aid room and periodic inspection on First Aid box.
11. To do briefing to contractors, vendors, visitors and new employee on Plant Safety Policy & Regulations
12. To communicate with vendors for safety improvement project.
13. To monitor, track, log or maintain record of inventory, collection & disposal of schedule waste. Ensure follow as per DOE guidelines.
14. To monitor and control Plant security management, and ensure follow as per SOP.
15. To update safety inspections report and to keep documents in a proper filing.
16. To recommend Best Work Practice on work methods for the enhancement of work environment and well-being of employees.
17. Perform any other reasonable duties as per instruction from Superior.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
