We are seeking an experienced Operations Lead to manage and guide a high-performing team in Insurance Operations for the APAC market. In this role, you will be responsible for driving team performance, overseeing business delivery, fostering collaboration, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team, guiding them to achieve performance targets and foster a culture of high performance.
  • Oversee the execution of delivery, ensuring the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all tasks.
  • Monitor team metrics, providing regular performance reports to management. This includes participation in weekly and monthly calls with the business and regional teams regarding outstanding accounts.
  • Supervise routine business processing transactions that are non-repetitive and may require independent decision-making. Responsibilities include data entry, issuing policy documents, and billing premiums based on established guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and investigation while handling accounts for the respective supporting country, ensuring compliance with local regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously optimize processes and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • May also act as a trainer for team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to improve skill sets.

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Operations Leader with strong leadership skills, proven experience in insurance operations, and a track record of managing SLA compliance.
  • Strong proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Fluency in Cantonese is a significant advantage.
  • Willingness to work in shifts (if required) based on the region supported, including working on Malaysia holidays.
