The Relationship Manager Excellence Program is tailored to build the next generation of elite Affluent Relationship Manager. During the twelve (12) months programme, you will gain exposure about what drives our Wealth and Retail Banking (WRB) business specifically in the Wealth and Affluent segment. You will learn about our product offerings, how we position them in the market, and the processes and strategies behind them. You will learn about client experience and our strategies to growth wealth with our clients. Your growth and licensing development will be expedited with the help of mentors and coaches who will be seeing through your growth journey with the bank. The programme aims to provide you a strong foundation in retail banking and wealth management, setting you up for long-term success and sustainable growth.

What You’ll Do Over the 12 Months
You will be supported and launched into a banking career through our 12-month programme. Key features of the programme includes: -
  • Structured Learning: By using a combination of innovative training techniques and hands-on coaching, you will be empowered to achieve and exceed targets, foster a client-first approach, and support their professional growth within Standard Chartered.
  • Sales Mastery: You will be equipped with advanced relationship, consultative selling, and portfolio management skills for sustained client satisfaction and portfolio growth.
  • Real-World Exposure: You will work alongside calibre Relationship Managers and Leaders, serving high-net-worth clients and gain practical experience in wealth management.
  • Mentorship: You will get to learn from seasoned leaders who will guide your journey and support your professional growth.
  • Fast Tracked Development: You will be subjected to regular assessments, role-play simulations, and feedback sessions to ensure continuous improvement and readiness for market demands. You will be supported by colleague of various segment to expedite your licensing certification journey.
Your career progression
Highflyers of the programme would have a chance to be promoted to Priority Banking Relationship Manager post completion of the programme.

Who we are looking for:-
  • Education Background: We encourage applications from diverse background and welcome graduates from all degree disciplines with lesser than two years working experience post-graduation.
  • Passion for Wealth and Relationship Building: A strong interest in growing wealth and client relationship management, particularly in serving affluent clients.
  • Goal-Oriented: A self-started with exceptional drive to achieve targets and has the hunger for growth.
  • Adaptability: A quick learner who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Mobility: A highly mobile and flexible individual in adapting to different work environment.


Shortlisted candidates must be able to start in April 2025.
