QA ENGINEER

Responsible:-

1. Assist the QA Manager in quality function.

2. Work with customers on quality objectives and goals to meet the customers demand for Quality.

• Analyze customer returned product.
• Liaise with QA Supervisor to educate Quality Inspector on the customer reject sample & all related issue raised by Customers.
• Verify Non-Conforming Material / Product & Trace Non-Conforming Lot.
• Notify, Segregate, Evaluate & Dispose Nonconforming Material / Product.

3. Receive Internal / External Non-Conformity Report.

• Review Non-Conformity, Issue CPAR, Raise RMA
• Determine Root Cause & Implement Corrective Action
• Follow-up, Monitor, Verify & Record Results
• Review effectiveness & review Quality Information & Implement Preventive Action

4. Work closely with QA Supervisor and recommend and initiate continual improvement measures.

• Any new information of quality information must share through short meeting together with production team (if related to cosmetic & appearance defect).
• Ensure the new quality improvement immediately implemented after short meeting.
• Further liaise with Engineering department for any quality issue which related to Tooling and production process.

5 . Monitor the implementation of statistical techniques, SPC methods and monitor data entry performance.

• Ensure SPC soft copy in computer was up-to-date as per QSI.

6. Co-ordinate and manage customer audits in the factory.

7. Conduct periodical audits to validate CPAR submitted to customers.

8. Monitor product quality performance and generate quality reports by daily basis.

9. Attend customer quality meetings as per required (Zoom meeting or on-site meeting).

10. Work with various engineering and non-engineering departments to resolve customer related complains.

• 8D Review with all departments before reply to customer.
• CAPA from Customers – Arrange meeting with Production & Engineering Departments.

11. Carry out new supplier qualification together with Purchasing Department.

12. Participate in ISO9001 Quality Management System audits.

• ISO9001 Internal Quality Audit
• Management Review Meeting

13. Prepare QSI/SIP for submission and internal usage (Document need to be updated).

14. Prepare and chair the monthly report presentation to management.

• Bi-Monthly Quality Meeting

15. Ensure good housekeeping at working area according to 5S requirements.

Qualification / Knowledge / Skills Requirements :-

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic / Electromechanical) or equivalent.
• Preferably at least 2 years of working experience in plastic injection molding.
• Possess good interpersonal skills.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Proficient in written English.
• Able to work in high-pressure environment.
• Required computer skills.
