Technician, Electrical

• Handle the shift/trouble shooting (related to Electrics) of the entire plant.
• Handle all the modifications, wiring jobs, replacement of motors/coils etc.
• Maintain the field drawings, housekeeping and test equipment.
• Must have basic electrical skills to work (and troubleshoot) motors, Coils, Relays.
• Operates switchgear of 33KV and 6.6KV voltage level.
• Carries out Planned/Predictive maintenance as per ERP issued job cards and reports back on the status.
• Handles all the modifications, wiring jobs, replacement of motors/coils etc.
• Works in the work-shop as required and participates in the repair jobs of equipment.
• Follows all safety procedures and raises the work permits as necessary.
• Follows the Lock-out and Tag-out procedures and facilitates other departments to carry-out maintenance jobs.
• Maintains the field drawings, housekeeping and test equipment.
• He will participate in various safety drills that are conducted time to time;
• To undertake any other job assigned by immediate superior or Management from time to time.

Job Requirements:-

• Candidate must possess at least minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering related discipline
• Have at least 3 years of electrical experience in the manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of chemicals process in relation to production machinery and equipment will be an added advantage
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (speaking and writing)
